Millions Like Us
Formed from the death of a Brighton band, Millions Like Us are a trio of like-minded musicians writing electronic dance music that fuses captivating melodies with heavy dance floor bass lines.\r All hailing from live music backgrounds, Tom, Ian and Chris decided to put down their instruments and lock themselves in a studio. Their first song “Put Your Shoes On” was sent to the BBC and within 24 hours had made 1xtra’s ‘Unsigned Track of the Week’ on DJ Target’s 100% Homegrown show. This led to daytime airplay across various shows on BBC Radio 1 and a live interview with Jo Wiley.\r \r Millions Like Us have since gone on to release a series of massive tracks as well as remixing the likes of Hurts, Calvin Harris, Funkagenda and many more to “devastating effect”.\r \r Their track “Broken Souvenirs”, a collaboration with Mau5trap vocalist SOFI, has been destroying dance floors across America on the recent Deadmau5 “Meowingtons Hax Tour”.\r “Broken Souvenirs” was released on Mau5trap on 24th October 2011 and reached the No.1 spot in the Beatport top 100 releases.\r \r Fresh from supporting Nero on their Second Reality UK tour, next up for Millions Like Us is their debut E.P on D Style Records, released in April 2012. “Equinox E.P” has gained support from the likes of MistaJam (1xtra), DJ Hype (Kiss FM), Loadstar, Tommy Lee and Skream to name but a few…
