ESP is a musical duo based in New York, USA, consisting of Donovan William Lally (Ultra Pure Whip) and Zephyr Maliki (Zephyr). The duo was formed in 2020 in Massachusetts. ESP debuted with the album "Forever", which was self-released in October 2020. In 2021, the duo made two DJ mixes for Odyxxey Radio, and released two singles titled "AiiA" and "LDM". They followed this with a remix of "LDM" by legendary electronica producer John Beltran. In 2022, they released the single "Frostbite", also contributing to Malibu's "United in Flames" show on NTS Radio, previewing two previously unheard songs, "???" and "vip". Their music has been played extensively in other DJ mixes, notably "BLOODZ BOI & QUIT LIFE" on NTS Radio, "Pit of Stars" by Ana Caprix and "Pan & Feather" by Dovecot. In 2023, ESP's track "North" was featured as the opening track on YEAR0001's second compilation, RIFT Two. Later in the year, ESP curated a playlist for YEAR0001: SOUNDS. On August 3rd, 2023, they released the single "Amber Sun". In June 2024, ESP contributed a 20-minute DJ mix titled "Eye of the Tiger" to the YEAR0001: SOUNDS series, including several unreleased tracks. In July 2024, ESP released the single "Formation" on YEAR0001, their first solo single on the label. This was followed by a second single two weeks later, titled Voices. On Friday, 23rd of August 2024, ESP released their sophomore album Promise. The seven-track album was released without prior announcement, accompanied by a music video for Vega, directed by Jansan Pierre.
