英国格拉斯哥团Travis新作，距离上张《Ode to J. Smith》已经五年时间。

五年的等待，来自苏格兰的崔维斯合唱团（TRAVIS）回来了！8月20日即将发行最新专辑《Where You Stand》
主唱法兰希利（Fran Healy）以拥有丰沛情绪的感性嗓音掳获世界的心，就连绿洲乐团（Oasis）的诺尔盖勒赫（Noel Gallagher）也曾说过崔维斯是他最喜爱的乐团，双方更曾多次合作。至今发行过六张专辑的崔维斯合唱团拥有许多琅琅上口的金曲，〈Closer〉、〈Why Does It Always Rain on Me〉都是台湾乐迷相当熟悉的歌曲。
新专辑延续乐团温暖和煦的气息，沈寂五年让团员更渴望做出完美的音乐，一如创团之初的热情。听音乐时常常想象歌曲背后究竟有什么故事与风景。


The band will release their seventh LP, 'Where You Stand', on August 19. It follows 2008's 'Ode To J Smith' and features Michael Ilbert on production duties (The Hives/The Cardigans) who worked on the record at David Bowie's favoured Hansa Studios in Berlin.
Scroll down for the tracklisting. The band will also be playing a number of live shows to support the record's release, including a slot at T in the Park on July 13 as well as at Sandown Racecourse on July 24 and at V Festival on August 17-18.
The first single to be taken from the album is also called 'Where You Stand' and is released today. Scroll down to watch the video for the single.

Speaking about the band's departure from the spotlight, bassist Dougie Payne commented: "You stay away as long as it takes, so you feel that hunger and desire to get back to it same as you did at the start."

Travis released their debut album, 'Good Feeling', in 1997. Their 1999 album 'The Man Who', topped the UK's Official Album Chart and was that year's biggest selling record in the UK, shifting over 2.7 million copies. It was followed by 2001's 'The Invisible Band', which again took the Number One spot on the UK's Official Album Chart.
