Carnegie Hall

Carnegie Hall

Before we continue Passenger 10's exploring world tour, we'd like to invite you to a short halt at the CARNEGIE HALL. The concert venue in New York City, designed by architect William Burnet Tuthill and built by philanthropist Andrew Carnegie in 1891. It is one of the most prestigious venues in the world for both classical music and popular music. Well, now we have to take a closer look at the question why our virtual globetrotter picked that name for his latest work: "When I composed this distinctive piano melody", says Passenger 10, "I was wondering how this would sound in a hall like the Carnegie Hall, supported and accompanied by a large orchestra. How would one of the big composers of the past have handled to perform this track to really squeeze the most out of it? I for myself decided to build an atmosphere sound-design consisting of organic and synthesized elements around the piano melody, creating a teasing arpeggio line and keeping the chord progression going all the way through the track to not loose the power of the energetic melody and chords." http://www.facebook.com/EnormousTunes http://soundcloud.com/EnormousTunes https://www.facebook.com/RealPassenger10 https://soundcloud.com/passenger10
