Slumberville provides lofi music where “simplicity is key, always.” Loving the DIY headspace and approach, as well as the creative freedom of a “bedroom producer," Slumberville loves incorporating different genres/styles into his lofi world. "Somewhere deep down these lyrics meant a lot to me so I wanted to build a cinematic, but minimalistic hip hop feel around this," reflects Slumberville about the collaborative Jack in Water single "There's a Moment." "The fusion; duduk, strings and piano meets analog synthesizers meets downtempo drums really interested me. A mix of Portishead, Gorillaz and Wu Tang’s 36 Chambers inspired me here."
