Marking his return to MoBlack, Darksidevinyl casts an effervescent five-track expedition. Kana EP starts off with a mosaic of electronic and elemental sounds, mingling lush percussion, soulful vocals and a synth-driven groove. The title track carries on, immersing into the deep, esoteric Omai- which unwinds just enough mundane instrumentals to feel dreamy and grounded at the same time. Halfway through, Vickie's propulsive rhythms capture the verve of earth, as its mesmerizing riffs and electronic nuances illuminate the vibrance of nature's symphonies. Next, Black Sun draws intuitive cadences, cerebral modulations and auspicious swells - an enigmatic anthem to peruse enlightenment through the depth of darkness. Together with Jordan John, Mido Maher rounds out the journey with a forward-thinking finale.
