From Ceola Records comes its first release, a new offering from internationally known and Juno-nominated recording artist John Herberman. This CD contains music composed for his 2006 solo concert in Japan at the renowned Tokyo Opera City concert hall, as well as new material that will be appealing to anyone who has been following the recording career of this accomplished pianist and composer. This is a compelling collection of signature melodies and the very personal playing style that has earned John a loyal following, with some new directions. With this CD, John shows his improvisational skills and explores the use of multiple pianos, all with the strong emotion and attention to musical detail for which he is known. As an added bonus, and in response to numerous requests, sheet music is available for all but one of the songs on the CD.
