This third album from IDER is a pop record with the depth needed to establish IDER in their own lane, parallel to alt-pop and maybe slightly left field of that genre tag. However the record definitely retains a real accessibility for fans. The album is about being on your own journey and embracing that. A rejection of societal pressures - particularly those put onto women. And it's about unlearning the conditioning and narratives we were told as children; turning up to life at your own pace and in your own way. With themes encompassing female empowerment, a voice for a generation (and for late bloomers!) for the band the record is all about connection, self acceptance, empowerment and being unapologetically you.
