His first song, "The Flylight Zone" which is about a bugzapper light, was played with only him and a bass guitar. As time went on, he started listening to a lot of music and writing more and more about whatever came to his mind. Eventually he decided a band was what he needed, so a band he got. He called up two of his friends who he had been in a little band with before and told them that they would become a band, called The Sporks. They played four shows, and had one 6 song EP. They broke up a week before the second CD was to be recorded. Max then decided that he didn't want a band. He wanted to try to do it all by himself. He makes drum beats using his computer, and plays all of the other instruments and sings. "I think what makes my music different is that I don't write JUST love songs, or JUST songs about being angry, or JUST any one set topic. I write about whatever comes to my mind, thoughts, stories, that fishtank over there next to my computer, anything."-Max Miller
