Torn Apart

With few artists having as great of an impact on Axtone as Adrian Lux, the label is more than happy to welcome back the Swedish born artist in the form of 'Torn Apart'. A return, five years in the making since his anthemic 2010 single, 'Teenage Crime', Adrian fully-lives up to Swedens notoriety for musicianship with 'Torn Apart' highlighting a clever juxtaposition of upbeat melodies and melancholic lyrics, to form an undeniably infectious result. Having made a name for fusing genres of Indie and Dance, Adrian first broke onto the scene in 2010 with singles 'Strawberry' and 'Teenage Crime', the latter of which received Grammy nominations and Platinum certification. Releasing his self-titled album in 2012 on Ultra Records, Adrian continues to forge his own path in the dance music world, as more than just a producer, but a true artist in his own right. Featuring a remix from Norwegian producer and progressive house aficionado Fehrplay, 'Torn Apart' leads the label into new, but intrinsically-Axtone territory. With rumoured remixes still to come, fans and listeners alike have plenty to look forward to as Axtone sheds light on its many surprises still to come.
